lyrics
Desde el dia en que te conocí
Mi vida esto da alegria
En mis sueños cada día
Siempre estoy pensando en ti
Son las páginas de ti, mi amor
Que imitas esas dulzuras
Llenas de tantas locuras
Que intrigan todo mi ser
Por eso nunca, mi amor,
Yo nunca te olvidaré
Contigo siempre esta ré
Todita la vida
Yo me siento muy feliz
También con penas
Negrito, que tu eres mio para amarte
Y para darte mi ser,
Pero mamito todito mi ser
Es mi realidad, lo digo asi,
Sin ti yo no sé que haría
Papi! Si en mis sueños cada dia
Siempre estoy pensando en ti

It takes a musician of Lynch's caliber to put together such a compelling tribute to the great Woody Shaw. It also serves a fine introduction to the musical world of Woody Shaw. godisozzy

An Eddie Palmieri album for half the price is something I can't resist... It's splendid salsa throughout, but somewhat untypical, due to some standard jazz elements in the form of extensive improvisations. As usual, Eddie Palmieri "sings" along during his piano parts - quite out of tune sometimes, which can be a little bit distracting. But that's the price we have to pay for having his great music around. Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
